Funded by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DENTAL & CRANIOFACIAL RESEARCH this grant will look to improve no show rates for underserved populations in dental care settings.
Using motivation-enhanced communication techniques when scheduling appointments, conducting reminder calls 24 and 48 hours before an appointment, and applying open-access scheduling, this study will look to improve show rates for underserved populations.
